Left Overload

Coach assistant says: attract pressure on one side, then attack the gap just outside the box.

Pattern Read

Pull the midfield over, then release the runner into the left lane for a cutback.

Coaching Cues

Keep the pivot behind the ball so the overload still has cover.

The far winger must attack the back post as soon as the fullback overlaps.

The final pass should arrive on the floor for a cutback, not a hopeful cross.

Session Checklist

Fullback starts the overlap after the inside pass is secure.

Nearest midfielder scans for the bounce option before turning.

Back line holds the rest-defense shape behind the attack.
